In 1997, construction on Cleveland Stadium started as part of a plan to bring the Browns back to Cleveland. And now back home, the Browns offer Cleveland and its many visitors one of a kind entertainment throughout the fall. Although the past has been a bit shakey for the Browns, there is promise on the horizon. Charlie Frye is still coming into his own, but with a cast that includes tight end Kellen Winslow and wide reciever Braylon Edwards the road has been paved for the young quarterback.
Defensively, the Browns feature a few new big name players including Ted Washington (previously with the Raiders) and Willie McGinest (from the Patriots' Super Bowl team) that help to hold the complimentary players together as a unit. While the past couple years have been tough on the Browns, with a growing offense and big time additions on defense, things could be looking to turn around in Cleveland a lot sooner than later.
