BB Riverboats in Newport offer trips on the River Ohio, from one-hour excursions to day-long cruises. The company has three boats, the Belle of Cincinnati, River Queen and Mark Twain. The flagship, Belle of Cincinnati has a luxurious Victorian decor with period details, where visitors on board can cruise in comfort and enjoy the bars, dance floors and climate-controlled seating. The open-air upper deck provides the perfect opportunity for a moonlight walk or admiring the scenery of the river and beyond. The the other two boats also offer a buffet and bar service, climate controlled seating and open upper decks.
The company features many cruise options on the river. These include the two hour Captain's Lunch Cruise with full buffet and entertainment. The Captain Dinners are available every weekday allows guests to take in the skyline at night listening DJ music and enjoying a dinner of beef, chicken and desserts. Other cruises include the Tropical Dinner on a Friday night with island music and tropical drink specials, and for music lovers, the bluegrass and barbecue or Dixieland jazz and buffet events.
The Fall is possibly the best time to see the surrounding landscapes, and BB Riverboats has a popular Fall Color Cruise along the Ohio and Licking rivers. One hour harbor cruises, and combined packages of a cruise and admission for the Newport Aquarium or National Underground Railroad Freedom Center are available.
BB Riverboats area available for private charter. For smaller parties a deck can be hired, or for larger events and receptions the whole boat with full catering services and entertainment.
