The Carolina Panthers will visit the Cincinnati Bengals on October 22nd as Paul Brown Stadium transforms into a raucous gathering of sports entertainment. The visiting Panthers are an extremely solid team with the potential ability to push far into the playoffs. Jake Delhomme leads this team at quarterback with little flash to impress, but a ton of depth to work with.
The home team Bengals are at the other end of the spectrum. Touting one of the most dangerous offenses in the league, this team showcases a boastful receiver in Chad Johnson, legit pro-bowler in the making at quarterback in Carson Palmer and a pair of deadly running back with Rudi Johnson starting and Chris Perry waiting in the wing. The Bengals defense may not be able to match the tenacity of the Panthers, but their offense could easily throw enough points on the board for it not to matter.
