If you want to visit a Chicago neighborhood that has a true hometown feel and will give you an authentic Chi-Town experience, then come to Wrigleyville!
As its name implies, Wrigleyville is home to to Wrigley Stadium and the Chicago Cubs. This neighborhood is part of Chicago's Lakeview community; its immediate neighbors include Lincoln Park, Belmont Harbor, Roscoe Village and parts of Uptown. Wrigleyville enjoys an active nightlife, and while sports-themed pubs and bars are common, there is much more to experience here. There are nightclubs featuring live bands, and several restaurants ranging from hotdogs and fries to full-service and upscale. As part of the Lakeview community, there are several theatres and eclectic shops all within walking distance. The housing here is also especially unique--the vintage apartments across from Wrigley Field have rooftop seating, and there are several restored Victorian homes in the area. Just west of the ballpark is Alta Vista Terrace, a historic street with beautiful row houses that resemble an old English town.
