Want to go in Chicago where 'everybody knows your name?' Then hit Wellington's Tavern.
Tucked away on a Lakeview residential street, this neighborhood pub has a laid-back atmosphere and cozy architecture. The building was around during the World's Fair, so the complete renovations that restored the original tin ceilings and added lots of warm woodwork have given this place a welcoming ambiance. Visitors of the bar can enjoy Golden Tee and shuffleboard (in fact, the bar hosts weekly shuffleboard tourneys with drink specials).
Street parking is possible, the bar is wheelchair accessible, and plastic is accepted.
