Come and visit a Chicago comedy club that will leave your sides hurting from laughter! Since its inception in 1959, The Second City has become a Chicago landmark and a national treasure, launching the careers of such comedy greats as John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Mike Myers, and Bill Murray
The theatre itself has two stages: The Second City Mainstage (which seats 290) and The Second City e.t.c. (which seats 180). Each stage has a resident troupe that writes and performs original comedy revues. The shows are smart, funny, hip, and wholly original.
The shows are intended for mature audiences, and children under 10 will not be admitted except for Kids' Shows. There are performances most every night of the week, with tickets ranging from $12-$24 (prices subject to change).
