Millennium Park is a 24 acre site featuring a 16,000 square foot ice skating rink, large outdoor music pavilion, theater, and much more.
The Park is the center for art, music, and culture combined with an amazing architectural & landscape design. The park opened in July of 2004 and has quickly become one of the most popular attractions in Chicago. At the park you'll also find the amazing Crown Fountain which features two 50-foot glass block towers at each end of a shallow reflecting pool. The towers project video images of Chicago citizens with the illusion of water spouting out of their mouths. The park also features gardens, exhibition areas, monuments, and a 110-pound elliptical sculpture. Step out of the city and into the amazing architectural marvel that is Millennium Park.
