Chicago Restaurants

If you're visiting Chicago, you'd better make sure that you hit some of the excellent restaurants the area has to offer. Chicago isn't just about skyscrapers, museums, and entertainment; a huge part of the area's culture revolves around the incredible dining that can be found throughout the area. Native Chicagoans will tell you that there is no other place on earth that will provide you with such amazing and diverse dining opportunities. In fact, each year the city has a tribute to the delectable dishes found throughout the area. When you're visiting the area, you'll want to know which restaurants are going to offer you the best dining experience.

Wanna Monkey Around?
Rainforest Cafe offers an incredible dining experience; combining mouth watering dishes with a unique rainforest atmosphere. This restaurant is great for all kinds of travelers. Whether you're traveling with your friends or your family, the Rainforest Cafe is the perfect spot. You'll experience dining with gorillas, snakes, exotic birds and elephants (all creative creations, of course), and the sights and sounds of thunderstorms and gentle mists. There's nothing quite like it.

Pizza, Chicago Style
Forget New York, nothing says pizza-lover's heaven like a deep-dish Chicago-style pizza. Chicago offers a number of awesome pizzerias including Gino's East, Pizzeria Uno, and Giordano's. In fact, visitors love these restaurants so much that they never view pizza the same again. It's not uncommon for a past visitor of Chicago to call the restaurants after they have returned from vacation and order frozen pizzas to be shipped to their homes.

Get Crabby
If you love seafood, you can't visit Chicago without visiting Bob Chin's Crab House Chicago. The world-famous restaurant in the suburb of Wheeling has now anchored another location in what used to be Chicago's traffic court building. Not only can guests enjoy the amazing Alaskan crab legs and delectable lobster that are famous to Bob Chin's, they can enjoy it while sitting right on the river. Fresh air, fresh seafood, and Bob Chin's famous Mai Tai cocktails equate to an unbeatable dining experience.

Not Just Any Dog Will Do
You haven't experienced hot dogs until you've experienced Chicago-style hot dogs; and you haven't experienced the best hot dogs Chicago has to offer until you've dined at Fluky's. Fluky's is as much of a Chicago tradition as dyeing the river green on St. Patrick's Day. Established in 1929, this restaurant has been making the best hot dogs Chicago has to offer for over 75 years.
