Departure Point
Let the panoramic views of Chicago's famous lakefront take your breath away during this exploration of the city by water.
The Windy City will blow you away with great sightseeing tours, exciting sporting events, extravagant shopping, and superb dining. It also offers your choice of hotel accommodations that meet your every need. Whether you dock in the heart of the city or moor yourself some distance away, you'll enjoy a great room at a fabulous price. The Best Western at O'Hare, located in the lovely city of Rosemont, offers convenient transportation services, such as a complimentary shuttle to the nearby train station where cars to downtown Chicago run 24 hours a day. Or take advantage of the available car rental service to explore your surroundings on your own. Enjoy the sports bar and grill on the premises or head just 10 miles to Wrigley Field to catch the Cubs in action. Grant Park, the Lakefront, and great museums are within driving distance too. Don't worry about parking; it's free at this Best Western! If you're planning to bring your own wheels, consider the Best Western Oakbrook Inn in Westmont. Because it's close to a major freeway, you can close the 20-mile distance between you and Chicago in a snap and spend more time enjoying Shedd Aquarium or Lincoln Park Zoo. After your adventures, you'll be anxious to return to this newly renovated, small hotel. Known for its great hospitality and individual attention, the Oakbrook Inn will make you feel right at home. Be sure to explore Westmont itself as it boasts excellent restaurants, theaters, and shopping venues. While families always appreciate the welcoming arms of a Best Western establishment, they'll be particularly please by the Best Western Chicago West in the O'Hare/Elk Grove area. Because children under 16 stay free with a paying adult and pets can stay under certain guidelines, it's easy to bring the entire gang along. One look at the tropical atrium with heated indoor pool and game room, and the kids will be begging you to choose this hotel. The complimentary continental breakfast is convenient and easy on the pocketbook, making it just one more reason to head on down. You'll be less than 20 miles from downtown Chicago, but visits to the Brookfield Zoo and Arlington International Race Course (both just 5 miles away) as well as the Medieval Times Dinner Theater (10 miles away) may occupy so much time that you never arrive at Navy Pier! Of course, staying in Chicago itself is always an option. Try the Best Western River North Hotel if you want to be next to Michigan Avenue at a reasonable rate. With free parking (a luxury in the city), you'll have extra dough to spend at Marshall Field's or FAO Schwartz. Enjoying the fine dining and Skyline Boat Tour will be a cinch as well. And the amenity-filled rooms offer everything you need to put your feet up and relax at the end of a busy day. No matter how close or far away you are to the shores of Lake Michigan, hitting the highlights is simple. Whether you drive or use public transportation, you can navigate this city and its surrounding areas with ease before returning to your comfortable accommodations. |

Skyline Boat Tour - Chicago, IL
This was okay. We went on a overcast day when the building were prcatically covered in fog. Otherwise on a clear day, I bet it would be pretty good.
