Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum
You'll drive past Adler Planetarium and the Art Institute of Chicago, which houses the largest collection of impressionistic art.
The Grand Tour offers Windy City visitors an encompassing view of Chicago that includes Daley Plaza, Wrigley Field, Grant Park, Soldier Field and much more. On the North side of the tour you will see what makes Chicago so vital and exciting. You will see State Street and the Richard J. Daley Plaza, which boasts the Pablo Picasso sculpture made just for Chicago. See the double-decked thoroughfare of Wacker Drive as it winds its way under the city, and travel over the Chicago River; see the Wrigley Building and Michigan Avenue, where Chicago's seven-level shopping complex, Water Tower Place, resides. Lincoln Park will fill your eyes with greenery, lagoons, flowers, and even a zoo.
Wrigley Field will be shown when there is no game scheduled. On the South side of the tour you will see Grant Park, the site of Soldier Field. You'll drive past Adler Planetarium and the Art Institute of Chicago, which houses the largest collection of impressionistic art.
