This bicycle tour takes riders of all levels on a journey into the ancient walled city of Lamphun, once governed by the almost-mythic queen Chama Thewi. This holy city occupies an important place in Thai history, as it was one of the ancient kingdom's oldest and biggest religious, cultural, and economic centers. Built in the first half of the 11th century, Lamphun's supremacy was virtually unchallenged until it was overtaken by King Meng Rain approximately 300 years later. Led by an experienced guide, you will cycle around the walls of old Lamphun as you learn more about the district's rich history. The all-day tour includes a midday stop for lunch.
