The National Medal of Honor Museum honors recipients of the Medal of Honor with displays and historical information on the Medal of Honor. This medal, sometimes called the "Congresssional" Medal of Honor, is the most prestigious medal that can be awarded to members of the armed forces.
The museum has been around for almost 20 years but it still does not have a permanent place. Many of the artifacts for the museum are currently in storage due to lack of area. They currently have a 1000 square feet exhibit at the Northgate Mall beside the Picadilly cafeteria.
