Mexican Folklore Ballet at the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, TN

Mexican Folklore Ballet or Ballet Folklorico de Mexico is a ballet group who has been presenting dances in Mexican traditional costumes for fifty years. Various ballet dance style and music aimed to show you genres of folk music and regional pieces which give you an authentic Mexico flavor.

Performing at the Creative Discovery Museum, the dance group will illustrate traditions of the Mesoamerican culture indigenous traditions. Founded by Amalia Hernandez in 1952, the group has grown from performances by just eight people to what is now a fifty-piece ensemble.

Located in Downtown Chattanooga, this museum offers events and exhibits even for children aged two months.
