You'll experience amazing whitewater rafting, incredible rapids, beautiful rock formations and with the three-hour rafting ride along the Ocoee Upper River. Your tour will begin with a descent into the Upper Ocoee River. Once dry, the 1996 Olympic rafting events were held here and the river has once more become a popular destination. The Ocoee River is controlled by a dam; as a result, the water remains high throughout the summer months, making this the perfect spot for rafting. In fact, the river was rated as one of the 10 best in the country for whitewater rafting.
What will you find on the Upper Ocoee River Rafting tour? You'll experience wonderful Class III and Class IV rapids, incredible excitement and you'll certainly get wet! Your professional guide will navigate you past rapids such as "Let's Make a Deal", "Slam Dunk" and "Humongous". The tour begins at the Rafting Center in Ducktown, Tennessee, and includes transportation to and from the river. The Rafting Center features picnic areas, a restaurant/snack bar, a gift shop and store, a deck, showers and restrooms for your convenience.
