I ordered our tickets the day before we were leaving for vacation, and your customer service reps faxed me the vouchers to ensure I received them before I left. THAT WAS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

Offering both natural encounters and a chance to learn about the Gorge’s historical significance, the Eco Tour is a relaxing and educational journey. View the locals as they go about their business; blue herons nesting in the greenery, deer weaving through the trees and eagles lilting over the canyon rim. Glimpse each diverse and fascinating habitat as the river pierces the inside of this other world, at once sheltered by the green-laden walls, yet open to the Chattanooga sky.

It’s no wonder that the Natives of the land chose the serene area. Perhaps the Cherokee culture has had the most impact on the land, with several of the sites named for their legends. The Eco Tour will visit the sacred Cherokee site, Untiguhi, or “Pot in Water,” where the Thunder Maker is believed to reside. In the midst of a storm, you can hear the Thunder Maker’s voice echo throughout the steep canyon walls.

Enjoy your meal as you view all that the Gorge has to offer. The meal includes drinks and a barbecue buffet with pulled pork and chicken, as well as Tennessee-style sides like coleslaw. To complete the meal, be sure to grab a delicious dessert.

From the exodus of the Cherokee people on The Trail of Tears to the many Civil War battles, the canyon walls have seen it all. Experience the rich history and varied wildlife of the Tennessee Gorge on your relaxing dinner cruise.
