Robert Yates Racing near Charlotte, NC

One of NASCAR's top team owners, Robert Yates has also been a premier engine builder for more than thirty years. Formed in 1988, Robert Yates Racing has provided engines for many of the circuit's great drivers, including Darrell Waltrip, Dale Jarrett, Bobby Allison, and Junior Johnson. A museum on the site features trophies, photos, and racing cars and, while Robert Yates Racing does not offer tours of the shop, they do provide a viewing area where visitors can watch team members in action. Fans can also pick up driver souvenirs and exclusive items at the Robert Yates store.
