ArtHouse in Charlotte, NC
Located in the artsy NoDa neighborhood, the ArtHouse is a great place for visitors to get an overview of a wide variety of arts, or even commission a piece for themselves. The venue is home to the studios of twelve resident artists, who create diverse works from photography, sculpture, portraits, and pastels, to copper art, folk art, textile art, and murals. ArtHouse also offers rotating exhibits of featured artists, a film series, and classes in drawing and painting. Visitors interested in seeing the artists at work should participate in one of the area's popular Gallery Crawl evenings, when music, wine, and food abound in all the local galleries.
