The Carolina Panthers will host the New York Giants during week 14 as both teams will look to solidify their spot within their divisions, and within the playoff race. Both teams are solid all-around, and while the Giants my have more big name players, the panthers might just have the edge in this one. When it comes to defense, there are few teams that can stand up with the Panthers. Julius Peppers and company should look to prove that Eli Manning just isn't prepared to carry an NFL team, and the Panthers certainly have the power to accomplish this mission.
The Giants do have a number of options other than Manning though, including running back Tiki Barber. And combined with their solid defense, the Giants may have enough offense to take this game. Only time will tell, though regardless of the outcome fans should be in store for a great game on both ends of the field.
