In a battle of the past and current receiver egos, Monday Night Football will feature the Cowboys and Panthers. The Panthers, a typically solid, team oriented team, have added the talented, if at one time misunderstood, Keyshawn Johnson to their roster in the past season to cover the hole that Stephen Davis' departure made. While this in itself wouldn't be big news, Johnson came from Dallas.
And to make matters even more hyped, Keyshawn, in his hey day, played the role of current Cowboys' bad boy Terrell Owens. But times have changed. Today, Johnson is a much more soft-spoken version of himself, and sadly not the talent he used to be. Conversely, Terrell Owens is as loud as ever, and viewed by many to be the single biggest impact player in all of football. Expect lots of taunting and flashy play from the receivers as their respective teams take on a classy, hard work ethic to compensate.
