Battle of Secessionville

The Battle of Secessionville is a an exciting educational time that will help demonstrate one of the more significant historical events in the Charleston area.

In June 1862, near Charleston, a battle was fought as the Federal Army aimed to take over Charleston. As one of the more significant moments in South Carolina history this battle is now annually reenacted at the Boone Hall Plantation near Charleston. History buffs and those looking for an exciting time in the Charleston area will definitely want to witness this tremendous show of the history that shaped the land.

But more than simply witnessing South Carolina history, you'll be able to help preserve it as all of the proceeds go towards the preservation of the Confederate Submarine Hunley. This November make your vacation meaningful and memorable with the Battle of Secessionville.
