Day 2: Cape Cod - Provincetown - Cape Cod
Today features a tour of Cape Cod. You'll start by visiting the location of the Kennedy compound, Hyannisport, before moving on to visit the Kennedy Memorial. Then head over to the artist colony of Provincetown and the Cape Cod National Seashore. For your welcome dinner, you will dine on a traditional lobster meal.
Day 3: Cape Cod - Martha’s Vineyard - Cape Cod
You'll be visiting Martha's Vineyard today, an island known for receiving visits from royalty and presidents, and being the summer destination for a variety of celebrities, writers, and artists. Gingerbread-style cottages and a tour of a famous whaling port dotted with the homes of sea captains and widow walks will be highlights of the tour.
Day 4: Cape Cod - Lincoln, New Hampshire
Visit the historic location of the battles of Concord and Lexington, Minute Man National Park. Then, take a trip over the "The Old Manse" where you'll learn about the important role the New England region played in 19th century literature. You'll then be visiting the Old North Bridge, famous for the "shot heard round the world," before you continue your tour trail towards Lincoln, New Hampshire.
Day 5: Lincoln
Today will be a day full of sightseeing. Start off in the White Mountains in New Hampshire before taking a ride along the Kangamangus Highway, heading through White Mountain National Forest. Then, you'll be on your way to North Conway, a quaint village ideal for strolling and shopping. You'll be returning to Lincoln later on.
Day 6: Lincoln - Lake Winnipesaukee - Lincoln
A ride along the Hobo Railway is on the agenda for today before boarding the MS Mount Washington for an hour cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee. End the day by visiting America's oldest summer resort, Wolfeboro. Spend some time exploring before your return to Lincoln.
Day 7: Lincoln - Woodstock, Vermont – Andover, Massachusetts
Leave the White Mountains and head over to Woodstock, Vermont where a covered bridge and Georgian houses will make you realize why the town is referred to as "the quintessential New England Village." A stop at Quechee Gorge is up next, where you can see the Ottauquechee River before going to the Simon Pearce glass blowing shop. You may have a chance to watch the craftsmen at work while you're there. When you leave Vermont, you'll be on your way to Massachusetts.
Day 8: Andover - Boston - Andover
Take a sightseeing tour of Boston, where you'll be introduced to the Old South Meeting House, Beacon Hill, The Old North Church, the Public Gardens, and more. Take some time out to shop at Faneuil Hall Marketplace and use your leisure time to walk along the famous Freedom Trail or Newbury Street.
Day 9: Andover - Salem - Andover
Today you'll be exploring Salem, a town most infamous for the 1692 witch trials. A tour of the town will enlighten you to the rest of its history, as well as introduce you to the real-life setting of Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel, the "House of Seven Gables." Enjoy your farewell dinner this evening.
Day 10: Andover - Tour Ends
