Founded in the 1600's around the nation's first water-powered woolen and grist mill,
Brewster is a town noted for it's scenic seaside and many inns and bed-and-breakfasts.
Near Brewster is famous Cape Cod Bay, and the town itself is also home to The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, New England Fire and History Museum, Brewster Historical Society Museum, and Roland C. Nickerson State Park.
The Mill itself is still in operation despite its age, and attracts many tourists each year with its unique annual Herring Run.
For anyone interested in New England's history, this location would make for a fun, very educational trip.
