Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum in Provincetown, MA
Visit this towering 252-foot granite monument in Provincetown that commemorates the November 21, 1620 landing of the Mayflower and the pilgrims . The monument itself is rich with history after being founded in 1982 and dedicated in 1910. Upon landing, the pilgrims signed the Mayflower Compact, which was the first set of statues and laws for the new colony. The group stayed and explored the area around Cape Cod for over a month before traveling on to Plymouth to establish the colony.
