ATTRACTIONS

Atwood House Museum. Your family will enjoy seeing the displays of furnishings, toys and art of the 18th and 19th centuries. The Atwood House Museum, located in Chatham, was built in 1752 and there are seven galleries that exhibit sea captains, maritime artifacts and other mediums reflective of the area.

New England Fire and History Museum. Do you have a future firefighter in the family? Then you'll definitely want to take them to the New England Fire and History Museum in Brewster. You can see historic fire engines, a diorama of the Chicago fire, fire equipment and movies as well as village blacksmith and apothecary shops.

Chatham Railroad Museum. Indulge your child's fascination of trains and take them to the Chatham Railroad Museum where you can see locomotive models, bells, lanterns, marker lights and an authentic wooden caboose that is over 90 years old.

Edward Gorey House. Your kids will love the interactive children's room and illustrations displayed here. The house is the home of late artist Edward Gorey and features his art and exhibits detailing his illustrations, writings and work in animal welfare. The Edward Gorey House is located in Yarmouthport.

Cape Cod Storyland Golf. Spend quality time playing a few rounds of miniature golf. There's over two acres of playing surface and the course is considered New England's largest mini-golf course. Cape Cod Storyland Golf is located in the charming town of Hyannis.

Moby Dick Farm. Is there a little girl in your family who's in love with horses, or a little cowboy who dreams of saddling up and riding out? Then you definitely have to make time during your trip to visit Moby Dick Farm in Brewster where you and your family can go on a guided trail ride on horseback.
