During a Whale Watcher Cruise, a whale breaches the surface of the Atlantic. Breaching whales extend the majority of their body out of the water.

If you're looking for an enchanting retreat to New England then Cape Cod is the place for you. Spend your days strolling along the miles of beautiful sandy beaches, visiting historical sites and enjoying delicious seafood during your trip. One thing you won't want to miss is a look at the magnificent wildlife of the area and with the whale watching tours available you'll get an up close and personal look at these amazing creatures and more.

Whale Watcher:  When you climb on board the Whale Watcher in Hyannis you'll get in touch with the wonders of nature and come face to face with the creatures of the deep. This cruise affords the opportunity to view whales, dolphins, porpoises, sea birds and various other ocean life from the comfort of this one-of-a-kind boat. You'll be protected from the elements in comfort with soft cushioned seating in either of two climate controlled interior cabins which were designed with whale watching in mind to give you a clear view of the waters or you can stroll the three exterior decks for a closer look.

With the mission of protecting and preserving the ocean life of the Cape the Whale Watcher features water jet propulsion which allows the boat to move using its own force rather than propellers which are a potential danger to sea life. On-board naturalists provide expert commentary on the area and its inhabitants and the Galley offers hot & cold meals, snacks and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Each cruise lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours and in the unlikely event that there are no sightings each passenger will receive a raincheck for another cruise at no charge. A Hyannis Whale Watcher cruise is the only way to go for an unforgettable experience during your vacation in Cape Cod.

Boston Harbor Cruises has been a well known name in cruises, tours and whale watching for more than 75 years. You'll board for your two and a half hour cruise at MacMillan Wharf in Provincetown then set out to see for a unique experience. Each cruise is narrated by experts from the Whale Center of New England and data is collected for further research on whales and their lifestyle. You'll learn more about the whales of New England, including the endangered humpback as well other forms of sea life found in the area. Your boat includes three outside decks and climate-controlled cabin space to provide fantastic views of the ocean and its inhabitants. Each cruise guarantees you a sighting and rainchecks are given for another in the event that there are none. Don't miss this chance for an up close look at some of the world's most fascinating mammals!

There are many different tours and cruises to choose from in the Cape Cod area and each offers its own unique ideas on the whale watching experience. What each has in common, however, is that you are guaranteed an unforgettable encounter with some of the largest and most captivating creatures you'll ever see. So no matter what cruise you choose, sit back, relax and let the captain do the driving as you glide across the ocean in comfort to come face to face with nature like never before.

Hyannis Whale Watcher - Barnstable, MA
A lot of people were packed on the boat, so that when one side saw a whale, we were 3 rows deep on the side to try to see it. Other's camcorders also got in the way.
