Get up-close-and-personal with the gentle giants of the sea with aboard the Portuguese Princess Whale Watch Cruise, where you'll witness whales breaching, feeding, playing, and putting on a show for you! Imagine being within feet of some of the most graceful, rare mammals in the world. Departing from Provincetown, Massachusetts, the Portuguese Princess whale experience gives you that chance and the opportunity to experience many other sights that you have never seen before. You will board the ship and head out to a marine plateau (called Stellwagen Bank) that is a gathering place for many forms of wildlife: birds, whales, fish and more.

Stellwagen Bank is one of the primary feeding grounds for humpback whales during the summer, and is rich in many other species of whales and fish. Experienced naturalists will guide you on a trip that is educational, exciting and impressive. 

 You certainly can't get closer to these amazing animals, and the Portuguese Princess Whale Watch experience is a great first-hand lesson in marine life. This exciting adventure is suitable for all ages and runs from April through October.

Portuguese Princess Excursions has signed a long term agreement with the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies- the leader in whale research and rescue.  Portuguese Princess Excursions now has interactive activities, such as listening stadium, plankton town, and all the naturalists on board are employed and trained by the Center. 

• Schedule: Tours morning, midday and evening daily May through October
• Tour runs approximately three hours.
• Reservations are strongly suggested.
• Guarantee: if bad weather causes cancellation of trip, you will be offered another reservation time or refunded your money.
• Whale guarantee: if no whales are sighted on your journey, you will be offered a "whalecheck" for another complimentary whale watch (however, 99% of trips out result in whale sightings).
• Passengers are permitted to bring coolers on the cruise, but alcohol is prohibited.
