This exciting nighttime tour takes you from the comfort of your Cancun area hotel, and through the scenic countryside for the hour and a half drive to the Sian Ka'an Biospehere. Sian Ka'an is located nere the Tulum Mayan ruins, and is the largest protected area in Mexico with over 1.3 million acres. It is also a UNESCO world heritage site.
Once you arrive at the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, you will hop in a tour boat to begin your exciting crocodile experience. Your tour guide will take you through the swampy wetlands of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere at dusk and into the dark nighttime hours in search of giant, wild crocodiles. The tour is actually part of a research project dedicated to conservation of the species, so in many cases you will have the opportunity to help capture the crocodiles as part of the research project. The crocodiles you will see and maybe even touch usually range between two and nine feet long. The Crocodile Adventure is a unique and memorable way to spend an evening in Cancun!
