Get a bird's eye view of scenic Calgary, Alberta from atop the city's most recognizable landmarks, the Calgary Tower! The observation deck of the tower is the perfect place to gaze out over Calgary on a crystal-clear day or watch the sun sink over the majestic Rocky Mountains. The observation deck encircles the tower 525 feet above the ground, and on a clear day, you can see for over 90 miles! There are media consoles located around the observation deck to give you some history about the area, and there are binoculars as well, in case you want to do some people watching from way up there!

Throughout the 1988 Winter Olympic Games, a symbolic flame burned at the top of the tower, making the Calgary Tower the world's largest Olympic torch. The torch is still lit today for special occasions, like Canada Day and during the Calgary Flames race for the Stanley Cup.
