Town Square in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
There is much to see, do, and enjoy in and around Cabo San Lucas but so
few people ever stray from the major tourists attractions, which are
mostly water driven. To experience a true taste of authentic Mexican
culture it is a wise idea to venture a few blocks away from the beaches
and marina area in order to enjoy the Cabo San Lucas Town Square.
The charming park in the Cabo San Lucas Town Square hosts a gazebo,
benches, and many shade trees, which makes it an ideal location to pack
a lunch and have a picnic. If you don't want to pack your own lunch
there are plenty of great Mexican restaurants nearby in which you can
enjoy great Mexican cuisine then walk it off in the park afterwards.
Other great things to do in the Cabo San Lucas Town Square area include
a tour of the Iglesia de San Luca (a mission church dating back to
1746) and the Museum de Californias. Both attractions add a bit of
education and cultural activities to your excursion.
While the beaches, the water, and other maritime attractions are what
traditionally bring people to this part of the world for vacation
enjoyment, it is a good idea to step away from the water for a portion
of your visit and enjoy some of the great things about Cabo San Luca
that make it different from your own backyard. Experience a small taste
of the culture by visiting the Town Square during you visit.
