Often times, beach areas are over developed making it virtually impossible to find that one quiet secluded place. With tourism in Mexico becoming more popular these patches of Eden are becoming increasingly scarce. Cabo San Lucas is quickly turning into a tourist hotspot, but even with all the new development there is at least one silent get away far from the tourism and crowds.
Playa Buenos Aires is a wonderful stretch of secluded beach that is little known to tourist and visitors. This privacy is due in large part to the beaches' virtual inaccessibility. There is no surrounding beach town, no hotels situated along the sands, and no lifeguards. Other amenities such as bathrooms, showers, and snack bars are non-existent here. Only the beach, sun, and water are available to those adventurous enough to make the trek. The only feasible way to reach Playa Buenos Aires is by a vehicle with a four wheel drive. It can be arduous but well worth the trip once on the beach.
Having no luxuries and being well outside the reach of any civilization, Playa Buenos Aires can be a dream come true. The beach is often deserted with the occasional surfer braving the waves. There is no need to worry about obnoxious beach goers or anyone else that can disrupt the enjoyment of a day at the beach. The obvious drawback to Playa Buenos Aires's seclusion is also what makes it so coveted.
Visitors are well advised to bring their own supplies such as food, water, sun lotion, and anything else that could even possibly be needed. Since there are no lifeguards and often times no other beach goers, the use of caution and common sense is vitally important.
If the benefits outweigh the journey and drawbacks just make sure you bring a towel and a good book when you visit Playa Buenos Aires.
