Finding Out About Cabo San Lucas Weather Information

The weather in Los Cabos is best understood by comparing it to Dallas, Texas or Palm Springs, Florida. Think hot and sunny, but unlike some other tropical islands, Los Cabos usually has low humidity. The good news is that Los Cabos is very pleasant in the winter months, reaching the mid-70's as a peak. However, it can get up into the mid 90's during the summer. Of course, that's relatively to Texas and Florida whose temperatures can soar above 100 at times.

The high season is Los Cabos is from October to July. Everybody wants to go when it's cool! The bad news is it will be hot... but with savings up to 25% off (since rates are discounted in the summer season) it may be worth a little sweat. When people think of Los Cabos they may think of sandy beaches and sun-filled skies all season long. That's a good visual and that is likely what you will all year round. However, remember that Los Cabos has it share of rain and storms. The rain may actually make the temperature more humid, which means it's time for you to start dressing for the occasion if you're going to Los Cabos.

What can you do to avoid Los Cabos when it gets that time of the season? Remember that Los Cabos is mainly influenced by the surrounding ocean and by tropical latitude. On average, the storms and rain come in during the summer months. The winter is generally a pleasant time as the atmosphere cools off and there are nice breezy winds to keep you cool at night. The moisture is dry so humidity isn't so unbearable; not that it matters, since temperatures usually stay in the 70's. Nights in the winter may even get a little chilly, down into the 50's and 60's, usually though it's unheard off to drop down to 30 degrees. So bring a jacket or sweater with you just in case things get a bit nippy at night.

Los Cabos' Spring weather is the driest season of the year and there is hardly any rain at all from the period of March until June. Winter becomes Spring very subtly as temperatures slowly start to rise. June through September is usually the hottest time period, as occasionally the temperature has risen into the 100 degree mark. Remember to stay close to the ocean and you will always have a natural defense against heat. (Temperatures by the ocean shore usually do not even rise above 90 degrees)

Not only is Summer the hottest season, it is also the rainy season and the most potentially dangerous season for storms. Humidity also rises during this season. By the time autumn comes around, the weather is shifting. October is the time of change, when winds start to reverse and patterns begin to change. For your best bet, and a relatively mild sunny vacation with a wonderful ocean breeze, then go visit Los Cabos during the winter season and enjoy your 70-degree Christmas!
