The Fairgrounds Gaming And Raceway located in Hamburg, New York provides for family fun of all types. The location is within the Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds, as the entire location is called, provides over 265 acres of fun. The facility itself sponsors a number of different events, many of which are operating continuously. The largest event is that of America's Fair, Erie County Fair which is the largest county fair found throughout North America. More than one million people will visit yearly.
One area to consider is the Fairgrounds Gaming. There are over 900 video gaming machines located here as well as many other activities to enjoy. For those that get hungry, the two delicious restaurants located on the premises. There are often sales and promotions happening year round here, too. The Fairgrounds Gaming is only open from 10 am to 2 pm every day. This is seasonal. Reservations for the restaurants should be made in advance when possible.
The Buffalo Raceway is also located here. It has been operating since 1942 as a harness racing facility. This high quality racing facility would prosper over the next 50 years. In fact, it became well known throughout the area. In 1990, the Buffalo Raceway was purchased from Sportservice Corporation, which owned it for many years, by the Erie Country Agricultural Society. The raceway has been improved since that time and provides even better quality harness facilities.
