Air 1: Overnight Flight
Your journey will start with an overnight flight* to your first destination.
Day 2: Buenos Aires, Argentina
Your tour begins in the city of Buenos Aires, "The Paris of South America," called so because of its exquisite European architecture, sidewalk cafes, and wide boulevards. Enjoy a tour of the city this afternoon before meeting up with your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner in the evening.
Day 3: Buenos Aires
Explore the countryside of Buenos Aires, Argentina with a visit to an estancia, or ranch, for a demonstration of horsemanship and rope work by gauchos. Then enjoy a traditional fire-roasted asado meal for lunch.
Day 4: Buenos Aires - San Carlos de Bariloche
Today you'll be heading towards the beautiful city of San Carlos de Bariloche at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The mountain range spans across the horizon and European architecture likens this town to an Alpine village.
Day 5: San Carlos de Bariloche
Explore Baroloche on you own today. Browse shops selling handicrafts, enjoy delectable chocolate treats, or take a scenic walk along the lake shore. You also have the option to take the Circuito Chico Tour for a look at mountain vistas.
Day 6: Bariloche - Puerto Varas, Chile
Today, you'll take a series of cruises traveling from Argentina to southern Chile known as a Lake Crossing. Amazing waterfalls, crisp blue lakes, and snow-capped mountain peaks are all sights you'll enjoy during this adventure. You'll be arriving in the village of Puerto Varas, known for its German cuisine and tantalizing seafood.
Day 7: Puerto Varas - Punta Arenas - Puerto Natales
In the morning, you'll be traveling to a city located on the Straight of Magellan in Chile, Punta Arenas. Delight in a panoramic tour of this city before you embark on an excursion through the wilderness of Patagonia heading to the city of Puerto Natales. Puerto Natales is the point through which you'll arrive in Torres del Paine National Park.
Day 8: Torres del Paine National Park - Puerto Natales
Visit the Milodon Cave for evidence of human inhabitants from almost 12,000 years ago. Then tour the rest of Terres del Paine National Park for views of mountain peaks, mirrored lakes, and clear flowing rivers. Take a drive along the shores of the Sarmiento and Figueroa lakes for a look at the spanning heights that gave the park its name. You'll be returning to Puerto Natales afterwards.
Day 9: Puerto Natales - El Calafate, Argentina
Travel through the natural landscape of Patagonia, crossing back into Argentina briefly before arriving in El Calafate. Spend some time at leisure touring this town and admiring its rustic houses.
Day 10: Perito Moreno Glacier - Lake Argentino
You'll be driving along the shores of Lake Argentino in Brazo Rico on your way to Perito Moreno Glacier today. This wall of ice spans over 60 feet high and is the only glacier in the world that is continually advancing. Enjoy a walk along the base and watching as chunks of ice break free and fall into the lake.
Day 11: El Calafate - Ushuaia
Leave El Calafate and head towards Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego. Spend the rest of the afternoon as you wish either relaxing at your hotel or exploring the city. In the evening, you'll go to the home of a local family for dinner.
Day 12: Ushuaia - Tierra del Fuego - Ushuaia
Enter Tierra del Fuego National Park where you'll be able to see deep valleys filled with lakes and rivers, glaciers, and mountains. A sightseeing cruise on the Beagle Channel will feature views of albatross and sea lions. Use the free time you have in the evening to explore the town and sample local cuisine.
Day 13: Ushuaia - Buenos Aires
Return to Buenos Aires today and spend your free time as you wish. In the evening, you'll dine on a delicious Argentinian dinner and enjoy an authentic tango show.
Day 14: Buenos Aires - Tour Concludes
Your tour ends in Buenos Aires today but that doesn't mean you can't take the memories (and souvenirs) with you!
