Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery now produces 301,000 pounds of fish yearly.
Lake Taneycomo now receives the majority of fish, numbering 700,000 every year.
Guided tours are given 3 to 4 times daily and throughout most of the year, taking guests through the facilities used for development of this conservation effort. Located just below Table Rock Dam, the hatchery and conservation center are off of Highway 165. Feed the fish and take a nice stroll in natural setting. The Conservation Center provides an enormous amount of information for visitors on the hatchery. A great educational outing, the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery will illuminate any day.
