Sadie's Service Is the Pits
My family arrived at Sadie's about 2pm to have a late lunch on July 21, 2007. The hostess was busy with a customer, but told us to go ahead and be seated. Even though there were six of us, we found a table easily because there were only about 8-12 people in the restaurant. We waited and waited, and finally my sister asked a waitress going by if she had any menus we could look at. No one asked about taking our drink orders. We looked over the menu---maybe another 10 minutes went by. Still no one came by our table. We all got up and left. When we got to the parking lot, a customer who was getting in his car told us that he overheard one of two waitresses (who were seated and putting silverware into folded napkins) say that we had a lot of nerve just sitting ourselves down and she wasn't going to wait on us since we could not read the ?wait to be seated? sign. Sad for the corporation that owns this restaurant if that is the attitude. We did not go back in and say anything....we went down the street and enjoyed lunch at another establishment. There are plenty to pick from in Branson! Service at Sadie?s is the pits!!
