Roaring River State Park is most widely known for its premier trout fishing and campsites.
The terrain, itself, at Roaring River State Park is amazing. However, park-goers of all ages can enjoy feeding and watching the fish in the crystal clear spring pool or touring the fish hatchery. Visitors can enjoy mountain-biking or hiking through one of seven wide, winding trails that total over 10 miles, or there is a swimming pool for cooling down, a shaded picnic area for lunches and snacks, and even a store.
For the guests that are wishing to spend the night, there are a few different options. Those with tents will find 187 campsites ranging from the primitive to the modern. Those who would rather sleep with an actual roof over their heads, can choose to stay in the elegant Emory Melton Inn and Conference Center which offers 26 guest rooms, a restaurant, a gift shop, and meeting rooms. There are even private, rustic cabins available for rent. Roaring River State Park is the perfect place for a day-trip from Branson, or for an entire vacation.
