Silver Dollar City Festivals
Geyser Gulch®
Geyser Gulch offers Silver Dollar City visitors an expansive water-themed play area for a splashing good time!
Silver Dollar City is a great place for the entire family. In addition to thrilling rides and great shopping, the park is home to several festivals throughout the year. World-Fest Entertainers gather from around the world and share their culture through a wide variety of performances. Music, dance, acrobatics, and other acts will be featured. Performances scheduled include the Moscow Circus, Zunyi Arcobats of China, Austrian Yodeling, Irish Step Dance & Folk Music, Zebra Silentheatre Stiltwalkers, and more. Bluegrass and BBQ Festival Enjoy delicious mouth watering BBQ along with the music of bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs. The award winning group Cherryholmes will also be performing along with many other amazing bluegrass artists. National Kids Fest Children will love all the fun and exciting rides along with special activities and exhibits just for them. Ten new rides will be featured as well as fun shows such as Jim Fowler's Wonders of Wildlife Live where kids can get up close and personal with a variety of animals, and Purina's Dog Team Challenge which is an action packed event featuring awesome dog tricks. There are even daily banana split eating contests! Southern Gospel Picnic Days This event features fantastic southern gospel music on 12 different stages. Enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as a delicious picnic featuring fried chicken, catfish, BBQ, and other delicious southern style food. Festival of American Music & Crafts A variety of special guests including Roy Rogers Jr, and "Gunsmoke" star Buck Taylor join this celebration or our nation's history and the American west. Trick riders, ropers, and over 300 musicians from across the country will also be on hand. Country music star Ricky Van Shelton will also put on a special concert. Visit Kringles Crossing where kids can hang out with Santa Claus. You can also watch A Dickens' Christmas Carol! which is a musical adaptation of the christmas classic complete with special effects. There will also be a Holiday Light Parade as well as a spectacular tree lighting ceremony. There are also a variety of holiday themed rides as well as seasonal tasty treats throughout the park. Much better time them we figured it would be with a 2 year old. Plenty for all of us to do. Even with the parking wait to get in.
