Mother Nature Plays Staring Role in Fall Attractions in BransonAlthough you can find spectacular performances any time of the year in Branson, Mother Nature's most vivid production begins mid-October. Branson is found in the one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, the Ozark Mountains, and an extravaganza of fall colors greet the city's fall visitors. Over 200 different tree species are found in the Ozark Mountains, practically guaranteeing an endless view of breathtaking, kaleidoscopic landscapes. Sweetgums, sugar maples, and sassafras produce those deep yellows and bright oranges. Red and silver maples, flowering dogwood, redbud, red oak and swamp chestnut oak all contribute to the vivid reds and crimsons. And sweetgum, blackgum, and certain oaks all add vibrant purple to the display. Many of your favorite Branson activities allow excellent views of Branson's fall foliage. One of Branson's most popular activities, the Showboat Branson Belle, leaves time for sightseeing from the deck of the boat before you enjoy your meal and show. If golf is your game, the Pointe Royale Golf Course is the best of both worlds: 18 holes of championship golf against a backdrop of mountain luminosity. If you're visiting Branson in October, you'll have the opportunity to surround yourself with the panoramic mountain beauty while taking in top-notch outdoor theater productions. You can sit in an open-air pavilion with a tin plate heaped high with all the fixings as you cheer on the lumberjack competition of the Tall Timber Lumberjack Show. Spend a day getting lost on the back roads around Branson--you'll find amazing views around every twist and turn. While the peak season for fall colors is difficult to predict, try to schedule a trip to Branson between mid-October and mid-November. Bring your camera. Take the scenic route. And be prepared--you've never seen Branson like this!

Showboat Branson Belle Lunch & Dinner Cruises
Branson Belle
We had the VIP Table and thought the view, service and food was outstanding. The singers and dancers were only mediocre but the Dog Ventriloquist was very good and very funny
-Jerry, Oregon Showboat Branson Belle
We really enjoyed our time on the Showboat Branson Belle. The food and the show were both outstanding! The next time we are in Branson, we plan to board the Showboat again!
