July 4th in Branson


This Fourth of July, you can celebrate your patriotism in high style with the many festivities in the Branson area. On July 3, head over to Branson Landing for the Second Annual Liberty Light Up. The celebration starts at 8pm and features live music by Chain Reaction along with a choreographed fireworks display. At Branson's Landing, you will also find a Bass Pro Shop, shopping at the Branson Landing Premiers, and lodging at the Hilton Branson Landing Convention Center and the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing.

Start the Fourth off with a big start at the Spirit of '76 celebration at Branson Stockstill Park and Branson Landing. From 9am to 10:30am on July 4, you can join others donning their red, white, and blue for a family-friendly Fourth of July event. Visitors receive free ice cream and a free flag. Stay after the events are over and enjoy hiking, picnicking, and more on this beautiful 62 acre park. Accommodations nearby include the Best Western Landing View Inn and Suites and the Condos in the Ozarks Holiday Hills.

You can enjoy an impressive fireworks display at the Chateau on the Lake, a gorgeous resort sitting tucked away on a mountaintop near Table Rock Lake. Chateau on the Lake hosts a delicious family-friendly barbecue with live music before the fireworks display. This large fireworks display can also be seen from other areas nearby, including Moonshine State Park and on the lake. The Chateau on the Lake Fireworks are also clearly visible from the Big Cedar Lodge Fourth of July Celebration, where the festivities run throughout the day. The family will enjoy such activities at the Big Cedar Lodge as a digital photo hunt, a kid's club creative cooking event, volleyball, hula hoop contest, crafts, games, and an after dinner movie. There is a fee for the activities, but the fireworks are free and open to the public.

In nearby Kimberling City, the Fireburst- Flotilla Celebration starts at 2pm in the Summer Fresh Supermarket, with great food as well as arts and crafts from local vendors. There are also fun games and activities for the kids. At 8pm, gather around the water at the Summer Fresh Supermarket for the Flotilla boat parade, featuring a fire department boat as well as Offshore Super Series Powerboat racing competitors. A bluegrass band will perform from 6:30pm to 11pm. At dusk, sit back and enjoy one of the largest fireworks displays in this section of Missouri. Nearby lodging includes the Melody Lane Inn and the Hotel Grand Victorian.

Also close to Branson is a large Fourth of July celebration in the small town of Hollister. Hundreds of visitors line historic Downing Street in Hollister, as well as Business 65 and BB Highway to enjoy Hollister's fireworks, as well as patriotic music. This is a large show, featuring over 800 fireworks displays. While you're in Hollister, spend some time exploring this historic town, which has a coveted spot on the National Register of Historic Places. You can find accommodations close to Hollister at the Condos in the Ozarks Holiday Hills and the Best Western Landing View Inn and Suites.

Condos in the Ozarks Holiday Hills
Condo was roomy, updated and clean. It was located about 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Branson. I would definetely stay here in the future.

We stayed at this resort in June for 4 days, 3 nights . We want to go back when we can stay longer. We loved how quiet and peaceful the stay was. It was just a short drive to everything we needed. The condo was very nice. Well decorated and very comfortable. Can't wait to go back!
