Colleges in the AreaThe Branson area is a popular area for live entertainment and family getaways, but it also a place of higher education for thousands of students. In Branson, the College of the Ozarks is a private, Christian liberal arts college, home to 1,500 students. The College of the Ozarks sits on a gorgeous, 1,000 acre campus overlooking Lake Taneycomo. In addition to boasting eighty programs in ten academic departments, Evangel University has been a proud supporter of racial diversity since its inception in 1953, bucking the trend in the 50s of segregation in schools. Missouri State University in Springfield is one of the largest schools in the state, with a student body of over 19,000. Missouri State University offers 150 undergraduate programs and 40 graduate programs. I have been on show boats before. I didn't really expect a lot out of the Branson Belle either. I was wrong. The Belle was a home run. A fantastic meal, Great views and a fabulous show. this was this was the best overall value for our money.

Food was allright - but did not get
to order what we preferred as far
as salad dressings, etc.
Boat was excellent , as was
the entertainment.
