The World Famous Platters
Lawrence (Rooster) Randle, Eddie Stovall, Willie Nash, and Damon Freeman make up the World Famous Platters.
Audiences from around the world will be amazed and astounded by the thrilling acts gracing the stages of Branson. Whether you're looking for a Vaudevillian extravaganza or a sidesplitting comedy, there are productions to please all audiences, families, seniors, country aficionados, and those simply needing a night out on the town. Instead of stargazing with your sweetie, get gussied up and go out. Paint the town red and take in a polished musical revue. Romantics will applaud The World Famous Platters and their classics "Only You" and "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," Andy Williams (and, for a limited time, Ann-Margaret) performing their top hits, or Branson's own "sweethearts," The Yearys with music and song from ballads to gospel to country. Older audiences will embark on a fond journey into the past celebrating legendary performers. Legends in Concert gives you all kinds of impersonated performances including Garth Brooks, Barbara Streisand, Rod Steward, and Janet Jackson. The Rat Pack, Live from Las Vegas features the song styling of the infamous Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis. Jr. and Dean Martin. Lost in the 50's provides is another great choice with over 70 musical performances of songs from all those popular 50's singers. Family-friendly shows don't have to mean cartoon character sing-along and parental boredom. Both parent and kids will be on the edge of their seats with delight at The Haygoods, a family ensemble complete with gymnastics and pyrotechnics. Kirby VanBurch amazes young and old alike with his tremendous feats of magic. The Acrobats of China featuring the New Shanghai Circus will leave you awestruck as the tumble and jump and flip and fly about the stage. If you're the family that loves pets, you'll be clapping' those paws for Gregory Popovich and his 8 incredible dogs and 15 housecats! And, if you're looking to rope some grub and good times, then Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is certain to get your heels clicking! If you'd like entertainment that is not only family friendly, but faith-based as well, then Sight & Sound Theatre Branson is definitely the destination for you! Hailed as one of the most popular theaters in the Ozarks, Sight & Sound Theatre presents tales ranging from Noah to general faith-based performances such as the Miracle of Christmas, which highlights the true reason for the holidays. Certainly, theater goers will find high-quality entertainment coupled with uplifting tales at Sight & Sound Theatre Branson. And lastly, nothing gets the enthusiasm going with an audience better than a hearty 'Hee Haw' and some toe-tapping music. Country music lovers will love the rope-twirling fun of Country Tonite, or the song and dance fun of country boy Paul Harris. For something different, there's a good old-fashioned patriotic celebration awaiting you with Broadway - The Star Spangled Celebration. If you want to mix a great show with the great outdoors, there's the Tall Timber Lumberjack Show with its sawing, pole climbing and log rolling. Then there's the John Wayne Story with recreations of the actor's big scenes from "The Alamo," "Big Jake," and other classics. After a day of sightseeing, amusement parks and museums, Branson visitors - young, old, coupled or with kids -- will find that world-class entertainment is just outside their door! |

Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Dinner & Show - Branson, MO
Try it at least once!
Our family has been to the Dixie Stampede 3 times over the past 6 years. We love the food, fun and action. We travel from Minnesota to Branson to get an early spring usually in April. Great time of year to be there. The first time is especially fun since you are so into what is going on continually in the show. The kids love the food without utensils. My eldist daughter was so impressed because as she said 'I get my own chicken!' (Cornish game hen) along with all the 'Welcome to my barbeque' fixin's. You won't leve hungry! Show up early to see the horses, read about them and get a good seat for the preshow, which changes, but is usually very good as well. All in all a well done show.
'Everybody now, STAM PEDE!' (your cue to stomp your feet) to the show.

This is the best show performance that I have seen in Branson. I enjoyed it throughly. I am only sorry that I did not get to buy the video, I wish I had it to watch over and over again. This is an amazing and beautiful show put on by the performers.
