Veteran's Memorial Branson
This Branson museum offers over 2,000 artifacts and exhibits that portray American soldiers and the wars they have fought. It contains five main halls that tell the tale of each of the five main wars of the 20th century. A visit here is a not only a fascinating lesson in history, but also a salute to all who have died in the name of freedom.

Engler Block offers crafts, collectibles, unique gifts and more. Strolling around this mall of specialty shops, galleries, and eateries is a wonderful relaxing experience. Watch as many of the artisans make what they sell right on the spot. Not only will you take care of the shopping urge, you and your family can learn how your treasures are made. Located on Highway 76 in Branson, MO near the Veterans Memorial Museum and right up the road from the Dixie Stampede you will not have to go out of your way to add this to your list of things to do in Branson. At the Engler Block you will find Goyne Candles, where owners Luther and Paula Goyne take pride in hand making each candle to produce a professional product. They offer a large selection of hand carved candles plus scented candles in a wide variety of colors and scents. Haldaman Arts is the working art studio of Stephen Haldaman. Stop by and interact with Stephen as he creates original paintings, portraits, and murals. Play In Clay Pottery owned by John and Pamela Hagen feature one of a kind works, as well as eighteen other local ceramic artists. Sunrise Leatherworks has become the premiere leather store in Branson. Not only will you find Greg Vidito's original works but you can also find leather Nascar and NFL caps. You will also discover glass art including stained glass that adds beauty to any home, quilts and bedding shops, jewelry and mineral shops. If you get hungry during this tour of shops and shopping don't worry; there is a shop here that will take care of that too. The Cobbler and Sandwich Shoppe will satisfy that hunger and give you the energy to continue on your shopping spree. The shop has a wide array of cobblers including apple, blackberry, blueberry, cherry, peach, rhubarb and gooseberry, and four of these are also made sugar-free. Hand-dipped ice cream comes in sixteen flavors, including sugar-free ones, and taste great on top of that cobbler. They have nine different sandwiches all hand made, including their special recipe chicken and tuna salads. Chicken and Dumpling and Vegetable Beef soups are made from scratch and Chili and Potato Soup are made seasonally. If you really love the cobblers and would like to take one with you to enjoy during your vacation they do have carryout and will sell you a whole cobbler. Grand Village in Silver Dollar City Grand Village in Silver Dollar City also have many craft and specialty shops for you to browse. Reflections Art Gallery offers exclusively the work of world-famous artist Thomas Kinkade. Come see the famous "Kinkade Glow" that he is known for as he infuses light into his work to create dramatic effects. More unique shops that you will find in the Grand Village are Kringle's Collectibles, Missouri's largest Christmas store, and Frosty's, a store that features snowman collectibles including those of Sandy Gore Evans and the country cloth snowmen of Wendy McWright. Abbey Rose offers exquisite Victorian d'cor. Angels Amongst Us and Seraphim Angels will delight the angel collector. Big Creek Lodge will give you wonderful ideas for decorating your home with cozy "Cabin living" d'cor and gifts. The Ivy Gate is a wonderful shop for the gardener in your life, offering the latest in garden gifts and ideas. To fuel up and continue on, stop in at The Village Caf', where soups, sandwiches, pastries, coffee and homemade goodies will keep you going for the rest of the day and into the evening. In Engler Block Artist Shops as well as Silver Dollar City's Grand Village you will see that Branson is not all about the attractions. The show and service,dinner was excellent,was there Sept.2006 and will be coming back for the show and Branson at the end of Sept.2007 for a week liked it so much.

lots of shops to enjoy, we are not much for rides, enjoyed the one show we did stop to watch. went back the 2nd day for the cave tour enjoyed that.

Probably would have been better had we not arrived the day after a huge ice storm. The majority of the park was closed. We had fun anyway, but could not spend much time there.
