Bill Haley & the Comets

Re-live the golden era of rock n' roll at the Dick Clark American Bandstand Theatre with the timeless music of the Comets. The Comets feature all five remaining members of Bill Haley and the Comets and will showcase a variety of classic songs including "Rock Around the Clock", "Shake, Rattle, n' Roll", and "See Ya Later Alligator". In addition to the beloved classics, the band will also feature new and exciting material.

The Comets were one of the first bands to combine country music with rhythm & blues to create a sound that changed the world - rock n' roll.

Please note: The matinee shows (2 p.m.) may feature the Comets and/or other artists, including Shirley Alston Reeves of the Shirelles, Little Peggy March, and more. Please see below for the complete schedule.

Amazing

This show was amazing.

The Comets

WOW. I cannot believe the talent and energy of these guys. At 74 the bass player is still jumping around the stage and standing on his bass while at 84 the drummer does a 5 minute drum solo that would exhaust a 25 year old. 'Age shall not weary them' sure has new meaning for me! A trip from Australia is certainly warranted to see these guys in the flesh.

Wonderful is not enough in how to describe the great time we had at the American Bandstand Theater. We were treated great in the bar, like we belonged there, the food was excellent, and we were made to feel right at home. It was a wonderful experience going back in time in the gift shop and again, everyone was so helpful and fun.
