Start your day with this widely produced, off-Broadway hit that's the only live 'musical theater' in Branson. A combination of singing and storytelling set in the year 1938, Smoke on the Mountain tells the story of the Sanders Family and Mount Pleasant Church, which is experiencing its first 'Saturday Night Sing.' 

The entire family will be enchanted by the awesome vocal talent performing traditional gospel tunes. In between reverent renditions of old favorites, you'll see great comedic acting. side-splitting fun never seems to end. Laugh along with this crazy family and their antics, sing, and remember what it's like to be family. This show has a wonderful ending that will leave you with a heartwarming feeling. Every time we have visited branson and check the list of shows, i have passed over this hidden gem! I am so sorry i have been missing out all these years! This was absolutely a wonderful show in a very small intimate setting inside the imax theater complex. The characters were all so funny and we rolled with laughter throughout the whole play. I would recommend this over and over again to anybody going to visit branson missouri. I don't believe in our group that day there were any young children, but i believe they would even love the goofiness in some of the performers. I plan on going seeing this again every time we go to branson from here on out!
