Attended the PM show. Jim has always been a favorite of mine since the 50's. I especially remember in 1957, Jim's songs being the favorites in the Navy chow halls where a quarter in the jukebox kept them coming - nice and loud! John Rex does does an excellent job of honoring him while presenting his own style. Both men have outstanding voices. I sat with tears of memory and joy during the whole show. John Rex is very humble and he and Neva are so warm and nice to talk with. It may not be the most classy show in Branson, but it was easily the BEST for my wife and I!! THANK YOU John Rex and Neva. We will look forward to seeing you again. We did bring home the DVD and have watched it a few times already. Such a great voice! Honoring Vets and standing to recite our Pledge of Allegiance is more important today than ever - Thank YOU.

Wonderful show. Couldn't have asked
for better. Also, had a chance to talk
with performers and they were very
down to earth.

Really enjoyable show. We were especially impressed with John Rex recognizing the veterans and having the audience stand and recite the pledge.

John Rex's presentation was so superb that we bought a CD to keep him in our library. His personal recall of the events that led up to Jim's death and of Jim's place in sales of songs were very informational and the whole show was very worthwhile attending.

John has been a great influence on my music and how I have been learning to play. The show brings back memories of my childhood going to the cabin and coming home on Sunday mornings listening to the AM stations that played classic country music. Please, if you get the opportunity to go and see John Rex Reeves, you will not be disappointed.
John and his wife Neva are great people and are so nice to visit with. They are very knowledgable in Jim's history. There are no other tribute bands that are better than John. Also, John has a lovely voice when he sings his Uncle's songs.
The last time we saw him perform was at Sandstone, MN at the Midwest Country Theater this August, 2007. He got several standing ovations and it was a packed house at both shows! Good for you, John!

This again was a very small crowd and he is not as comfortable in mingling with the crowd during the show. We like a lot of the music and the impressionist was good.

Hope this show can continue. Only about 20 people at the show. Great to keep the Reeves name alive. Close your eyes and you would think Gentleman Jim was doing the singing.
