The Dixie Stampede is a one of a kind show. The talent and production of the whole show and dinner was fantastic. There were 10 of us (two were a 4 and 6 year old, one was 86) and we all equally enjoyed it. I would not miss it when we return to Branson again one day!

Been there before and loved it. Second time around still loved it. Kids loved it to and because we had two boys on our laps under the age of three they did give up extra prostions of food which was very thoughtful.

We have been to the one in Branson 4 times and went to the one in Tennessee once. The first time we went..... SHOCK!!! We laughed so hard, and clapped and stomped our feet. We had a blast!!
The second time we took our daughter and her husband. They had just as much fun as we did the first time, and believe me we still loved it.
The 3 time we came alone again... just cant stay away.
The 4 time we brought our other daughter, her husband and 2 children. They couldnt believe they could have so much fun and still get the kids to eat.
The show in Tennessee is the same as the one in Branson. And the food is just as good.
We are coming back this year!! Our son is going back to Iraq and we feel this is the best show to bring him to before he goes!!!
We have 3 military guys in our group this year, and I cant think of a better way to honor all 3!!!

Went to see the Christmas show. It was truely amazing. If you weren't in the Christmas spirit before you went, you will be after ward. The nativity was beautiful. The North and South fued was so fun, the food was great and so much of it. Don't eat lunch that day. My four year old son, barely ate anything and honestly said about two words, he was so mezmerized by the horses, the ostrich and pig races. Definately expensive, but if you have to choose, pick this one.

The Dixie Stampede is our favorite Branson activity. The food isn't gormet but is wonderful for eating with your fingers. It is a fun time the show is wonderful and the atmosphere is great. We have been visiting Branson for 10 to 15 years and always go to the Dixie at least one time a year. 10 out of 10 would be a great rating.

We loved this show! This time we broght our own knives and forks. When we were here last year I couldn't get the chicken grease out from under my fingers for days so this worked far better. And I brought a wet towel and degreaser from the trailer. And I gave half of my chicken to the hubby. The soup wasn't as good this time. Hubby thought the whole thing was too loud, but I loved the hog races. I think we sat too close because we got some debris kicked up on us. Will come again next time with bibs and hot wash clothes. The food was good as was the service. My 3 year old LOVED the show. This was our favorite activity during our vacation. The only downside was the preshow. You have to get there really early to get a seat. We didn't and ended up standing around for 30 minutes with two kids. Next time I'll just show up for the Stampede.

This show was excellent to take the grandchildren to. What an experience this was for them! I have told family and friends already that this show was absolutely the best to take kids to. We have twin grandaughters who are 7 years old and their sister who is 5 years old. We would do this again.

Good dinner and a fun evening. The air conditioning worked great so it was not hot or smelley from the animals. Wife and granddaughter both enjoyed the show. They took our pictures on the way in front of a blue screen and then using photo magic pasted us in front of a nice background. I think we paid $20 for one photo alblum.

We took our teens to Dixie Stampede, over their protests, but guess who loved it the most. And why, because those two 6 footers did not have to fight over food. A whole chicken for each of them. First, I want to thank you for having this comment board because when we were deciding where to go in Branson, we read all these comments and chose DPDS because everyone seemed to have so much fun. I laughed so hard I lost my earring in the vegetable soup, but I found it before I swallowed it! Zippy got carried away with the chicken and ate mine too, he thought I wouldn't notice. When we got to the motel I told him I didn't remember eating any chicken but he said I did but I know I didn't. We haven't had this much fun since the demolition derby at the State Fair when we were in high school, and that were a mighty fer piece down the road ago. We'll bring the grandkids and the critters next time! T.T.

I went with my parent's on vaction and I am 42, I have alway's been a horse person and a western movie buff. I grew up listening to Dolly from my parent's. I think her show is best there is!!, and I would really love to see her bring her show to the west Michigan area, Grand Rapid's, Lansing or in between. We have had a lot of job loss in MI and people need something to really cheer them up, not to mention adding job's to the area. It seem's like all the really great thing's to see and do are in the south. Why that is I have no idea, we here in Michigan have a huge amount of horse people and lot's of beautiful countryside, Michigan could really use a Dixie stampede and I have told everyone I know how wonderful the show was and if they ever go to the south they have got to see it. I am planning on going again in 2007.

The show was wonderful. However, it seems to me that a child's menu would be in order, since many children do not eat that much food, therefore a great amount of food is wasted. Children's menu idea, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, mac & Cheese, etc. I can't believe that Dolly Parton condons the wasting of so much food.
