Cosmic CavernOn your next trip to the Branson area, you won't want to miss the chance to visit the Cosmic Cavern. This magnificent natural wonder is tucked away in the Ozarks near Berryville, Arkansas, just a short drive from Branson. On your tour of the cavern, you will have the chance to see two bottomless lakes. The bottom of these lakes have never been found by man. The lakes are inhabited by trout that have gone blind and lost their color due to years and years living underground. The Cosmic Cavern is also home to one of the longest soda straw formations in the Ozarks, measuring over nine feet long. The cave averages about 64 degrees year-round, so it's a nice place to visit regardless of the weather outside. Your tour will be led by an expert tour guide who will point out various rock formations and interesting facts along the way. You can also try your hand at gemstone panning. The caverns are home to a variety of gems, including amethyst, copper, garnet, apache tear, and many more. You can keep any gemstones you find! Details:

Cosmic Caverns
My experience at cosmic caverns was great! The tour guides Mike and Jimmy were nice and very good at presenting the caves features. The cave itself was very well preserved (unlike Onyx Cave in Eureka Springs )(Cough,Cough). And the business was very sifisticated compared to others in the area. All in all the cave has great formations, the people are very nice, and the experience was one to remember. I would highly recommend Cosmic Caverns for tourists or anyone who hasnt seen it.
