The Witch City Tour
During the Salem Witch City Tour, you'll be taken first to Abbott Hall in Marbleland, which isn't directly connect to the Witch Trials, but is the home of the original Spirit of '76 painting, a memorial from the same era of history. Abbott Hall is also the birthplace of the American Navy. You'll next travel to the Salem Witch Museum. Designed to transport you back to 1692 the museum is full of artifacts and historical information related to the Salem Witch Trials. See life-size figurines, listen to narration, and take a step back in time. Your tour also includes sighseeing famous attractions such as Salem Common Park, the Salem Visitor's Center, and the Salem Trolley. After spending time investigating the horror that was the Salem Witch Trials you'll move on to Pickering Wharf where you'll be able to grab a bite to eat and shop. You'll also stop by Hawthorne's Custom House, immortalized by Hawthorne's controversial book The Scarlet Letter. Then you're off to the inspiration of another book, the House of the Seven Gables, which is also the oldest surviving mansion in New England.
