Louisburg Square is located between Mt Vernon and Pickney Streets Considered the very heart of Beacon Hill.
Louisburg Square is one of the most charming corners in the neighborhood. The grassy square -- enclosed by a wrought-iron fence belongs collectively to the owners of the houses facing it. There is a statue at the north end of the green is of Columbus and one at the south end that is of Aristides the Just. Both statues were donated in 1850 by a Greek merchant who lived on the square.
