Situated outside of the historic City Hall complex in Boston, the Benjamin Franklin Statue pays tribute to one of America's greatest minds. The statue and old City Hall are stops along the
Freedom Trail Historic Walking Tour, but are also spectacles to see anytime you're walking the streets of the city.
Four bronze tablets surround the statue, so be sure to leave plenty of time for reading and learning more about Franklin's roles as a printer, a scientist and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The statue itself is also historic, as it was the first portrait statue to be erected in the United States.
